Guidelines for creating Digital Shows for various member shows we may have through the year.

It is perferred that you create your shows using a Proshow product – Proshow Gold or Producer are both very good.  However if you use another program that creates an executable file, please inform the show coordinator beforehand.

To create your show – please select your images and size them to the same dimensions as used for competition- maximum 1400 pixels horizontal and 1050 pixels vertical.

Your show will be limited to 5 minutes so if you use a 5 second duration and a two second transition you will need at most 42 images. 

Two of these slides should be blank – one in the beginning and one at the end of your show.

Please create a title slide with the name of your show and your name.

Please also create a trailing slide with appropriate credits.

Specify that "no menu" should be used so that the show plays without any operator intervention.

Once you have all the images and the music synchronized generate the show.  If you use ProShow Gold or Producer please create an exe file to run on a Windows PC. (this is referred to as an executable in the create show dropdown menu). 

Once this is done copy your show file (it should be a single file) to a CD and then see if it plays to your satisfaction. Once you are satisfied – you can bring your CD/Thumb drive  to a meeting, 2 weeks prior to the show and give it to the President, VP or show coordinator.
