Quad Club: Inter-club Digital Competition

Each year members of four competing clubs collect their
best images in 24 defined categories.

Each year Greater Lynn Camera Club, Gateway Camera Club, Stony Brook Camera Club and Merrimack Valley Camera Club compete in a kind of photographic scavenger hunt.

We each compete to find 24 images that best represent the categories below. The clubs come together in May to have their 24 images simultaneously judged for best fit in the category. The club with the best set of entries, win.

For the 2012 competition, all images submitted must have been captures after May 1, 2010.

The Format:

  • Photographic capture (any medium - digital, slides, color, b&w)
  • Delivery Medium: JPEG files, sRGB, 72DPI, 1024 x 768
  • Naming Convention: Category_Photographer Name_Entry#.jpg
    ie Bad_JimJones_1.jpg
  • Classes - none - all images compete in one group
  • Post-Processing - all forms allowed (including creative, interpretive, collage, etc)
  • All competition photographs must be taken May 1, 2011, or later.
